Just realized that earlier tonight after talking with Marty and Helen.  Ove lost track of days of the week and went by the 10th knowing that was tomorrow.

 

Wonder how poor of a turnout they had today especially when invitations were delivered late today.  Very poor communication indeed.

Why am I not surprised.  Currently on the Radiance and received an invite today, to an event that took place yesterday 🙀.

While I am on a rant, I went to future cruises today to book 3 cruises, thinking I would be getting $100 OBC, as well as the reduced deposit of $100, instead of the normal $250.

I was informed that since I wanted to book with a refundable fare, the deposit was $250 and the OBC would drop to $57. WT???

We didn’t get this invite until this afternoon also.  But I believe Denny @CruiszBug went to this officers’ cocktail party.  I wonder if it was tonight since it was dress-your-best night.

Pat, that is correct info with refundable deposit and amount for OBC.  That was how we booked Bella 2.

No, we did not come across any Tiki bars on our walk to the beach.  There could have been some near the port but we just didn’t notice any.

After we left Kona, Day 4, it got really windy out on deck. It was really risky trying to take a sunset picture. I’d run out on deck trying hard not to get blown off the ship and snap a picture as fast and as best I could and run back in.  Couldn’t hold the camera still.  The temperature got really cold after that, along with really strong wind.

Yup  I stopped booking onboard once NRD started since I always book refundable.  Now almost all my bookings are in groups thru you know who😇

Apparently RCI has already forgotten who helped to keep them afloat when they first resumed cruising. They truly better hope the generation after us loves cruising as much as we do and that they are not a generation of one and done people.

Can casino bookings be transfered to you know who within 30 days? Or it is not beneficial for you know who? do you/anyone know ? DH gets a couple offer codes from casino .......I only play children's monopoly 😁😇

Oh No!!!! That's not good. They should never run out of Kraken. It's not like they don't know how many bottles they go through on a cruise.

I agree Pat that's not right. I'm sure it's because Next Cruise wants you to book a non refundable but why take the chance? We always book refundable. We've never had to cancel but if an emergency came up it's nice to have that option. I would think the number of people who actually cancel and ask for a refund is low.
