Near the place where they sell their flowers each week they opened a new market.  The girls were able to find matching dresses. 

 

They have sunflowers coming out of their garden for them to add to their offerings.

The company that I worked for 25 years owned the building and they had a gym built .This was way ahead of the time .The employees were given a choice ,a 15 minute coffee break or a 30 minute exercise break.Most people opted for the exercise break

In Texas we had an aerobic system.  It had to be inspected quarterly, so we would pay the inspector, he would come out, walk around to the back, press the button to make the alarm sound (in case the air pump failed), walk to the front door and put a tag saying he had been there on the door, send the paperwork to the county and we would be all good.  

From the Aerobic System, do you use that septic water after it's cleaned up to water your lawn?

So a little bit  ago, I was sitting in the family room watching the start of the movie (The Goonies) who by the way the director is from the next town over and went to my DD HS.  (JFK in Warren Ohio  Chris Columbus), Lizzy is deciding to hide and the spouse is at  his HS reunion.  ( I had no desire to go, let him go and have fun..................)

 

So, all of a sudden the house begins to shake and I hear a loud after burn of jets going over head.

So I run out the front door in my jammies, and all I see are flying bugs.

 

So I go back in the house and of course....................................jet afterburn again.

 

So once again I mozy outside and just hear the noise, cannot see any site of a jet.

 

The Cleveland airshow is scheduled Labor day weekend.

We have a reserve base just a mere 1 1/2 miles from our house.

Often we get a mini display of their capabilities if your quick enough to see them.

 

And often the jets and other flying machines stop for a visit at the airbase as did one of the Concords, Blimps and Air force one.

 

Cleveland is about an hour drive with the wind at your back and we would love to go this weekend, but the reunion will be keeping him busy.

 

Damn, wish I would have know sooner.

I would have driven up and parked in one of the lots.

The only way I would that is if they had showers too. I think the office could get pretty stinky if people couldn’t clean up after exercising.😉

They did have showers but I do not recall anyone showering .I never sweated that much when exercising anywhere.

I appreciate the shared knowledge and assistance. As I said, we know nothing about septic tanks. We've always been on city sewer. They have their own water supply up there, but the weird part is...there are no water meters. We pay a yearly fee for unlimited water. Never experienced that before either. Especially in a drought. There are a lot of reminder signs about not wasting water, which we don't. 😄

We were on acreage and didn't really have a lawn.  Being Texas, and with it just being the two of us,  the sprinklers were not enough to keep a lawn alive.  It was more a pasture grass with some weeds thrown in that my husband mowed that would be semi-green in the summer.  We would get 90 days of 100 plus weather with no rain in the summer.

Quick ball update. 2 games and two wins. They have a bye tomorrow morning and play at 4pm. They have one game tomorrow and one for sure Sunday morning. Maybe more if they keep winning. 
 

Our hotel tonight is at the Casino in Windsor.  

 

 

We are on the Detroit River with a freighter coming down the river.

Owen and some of his teammates down on the river walk. it’s been a long day but a good day.

Today we will play one of two teams that we have played before in tourneys. One we lost 3-1 and the other we beat. The game at four will be interesting.

 

We will take that luck and I hope you are right.

Doubt this would be the case since I believe this is a duplex rancher, where they share the same center wall between the 2 homes.
