Very nice, looks much better on your walls than on the little sample patch. Happens a lot both ways. I redid my downstairs half bath last year and the lvp flooring I had installed came out much darker than it appeared in the sample. I wasn’t too happy at first but it’s grown on me.

A green zombie, to go with my bangers and mash for lunch today.

Rain and overcast over the lake where we ate today.

Now I have moved on to some green rum punch tonight.

Those are really lovely. I love your decorating. I'll try and save your post. So pretty. I have a whole collection of wooden carvings very much like those on that table I've collected over the years cruising. But I love your way of displaying them.

To those who say wait to paint. Hes redoing the kitchen light. Involves sheetrocking, taping and bedding and repainting. So kitchen ceiling has to be painted.

I like it with the white trim. It also goes really well with the blue accent wall.

Nice desk. I'd love that. ..and yes the color looks good but I see you broke it up with lighter molding. Both you and helen have some beautiful furniture. I used to but it's mostly gone.

Sorry to say I have no Irish blood in me or even a green shirt but this was the best I could do for Saint Patrick’s day. Grilling some filets was some very good Irish whiskey.

Just returned from spending spring break week in Washington, DC, showing Andrew all of the historical sights. We got to tour inside the White House and go up inside the Washington Monument (both tickets hard to get), plus many other things. We walked 6+ miles each day, and we went 8.5 miles the day we toured all of the monuments on the mall. We also got to see the cherry trees just beginning to bloom, which made me so happy.

Lovely photos.  Not long before Andrew is taller than you both.

Is anyone really good at colors. Decorating isnt my forte. Sure anyone can hire someone to change out countertops etc but I dont have a artistic flair. My painter wants a color of "white" so he can go in this week and paint. I cant make up my mind. Yesterday I wanted heron plume, today I'm back to alabaster.

This shows the color of the cabinets and the granite countertop. My real estate agent and this guy are both pushing for new cabinets. For sure new appliances so ignore appliance color. If I get rid of cabinets, I'd lose the granite countertop. Right now I need a paint color. One thing at a time. . .. anyone have a preference?

We were amazed how nice various shades of light grey looks on the walks, very restful. We started with the study and ending up doing the whole downstairs in different shades

@firefly333 I’m closer to the port, so welcome to the area. I get full afternoon sun from the west and beautiful sunsets. You will get morning sun with sunrises, but condo interior will be darker in the afternoons.

I painted my condo a soft grey and like it, but I’ve found, when we are under cloud cover for a couple days in a row, that I wished I’d picked a color with a touch of soft yellow to brighten up the condo interior. The soft blue of the bedrooms and baths is even better than the grey. On sunny days I’m happy with the grey, so … both work. Had full white in a house in nc, worked for me there, but not here for some unknown reason. Guess partly the interior I inherited.

I liked the color greek villa. Check out the various sale photos of condos for sale, some are so bright they remind me of pictures of the icon of the seas, others do color blocking similar to room photos shared earlier. At least, if you find the color you paint doesn’t work once you move in, another color is easy to pick.

@Ozark_Kid John, thank you so much for the b'day wishes, especially those of adorable Kenzie. So much pleasure to get one from a beautiful young lady, as opposed to our 2 "macho" grandsons....😉

Also, heartfelt thanks for the wonderful wishes from so many of you --

DH cooked a nice dinner 2 days before my b'day, to celebrate also our eldest son's (Pi b'day😉).

Black (squid) pasta with shrimps...

For my actual b'day, we went to a food stand for my favorite shawarma.... we were lucky to even find a table. It was delicious, huge portions, we took doggy bag home.

That's on the main street in our city, looks like the eighties, feels the same.
